Dlmitrios Tsiantas is from A thens and Epirotic  heritage

He studied iconography at the Monastery of Paraklitos at Oropos, while he has apprenticing under some of the greatest ico­nographers. He has been a member of the Hellenic Association of Iconographers since 1990. In 1991, he was elected to the creden­tialing committee of Artists Guild of Greece, also he is member of Hellenic Association of Iconographers for several years now.

Mr. Tsiantas has been teaching, iconography at the Cultural Center of Iconography of Prophet Elias at Petroupolis He has taken Part to several Iconographical Exhibitions in many Hellenic and European towns, such a "SALON D' AUTOMNE "in Marseille and in Rome at the Greek Embassy.

Since 1981 his iconography has been found though out Greece , United States and Cyprus . Along with associate, Nikolaos Vlachogiannis, they have contributed to works on Mt. Athos at the Monastery of St. Panteleimon, at the Monastery of Saint Nektarios of   Aegina , at the church of St. Tryfonas of Glyfada , at the Assumption of The Virgin Maty of St. Louis, ,USA, and many others
